The Maxi Cosi 2wayFix base is one of only a few car seat bases worldwide, that are compatible with a baby capsule and then infant convertible car seat. Combined with the Maxi Cosi Pebble Plus Capsule and then the Maxi Cosi 2way Pearl Convertible, the base provides an ideal birth to approx 4.5 years travel solution. An extremely well thought out design ensures perfect installation every time, with visual and audible confirmation of correct fitting.
The Maxi Cosi 2wayFix base adheres to the latest European Child Car Seat Regulations called i-Size. Developed using the very latest research into child safety in cars. It has improved protection at higher forces for side & front impact with an increased level of protection for head and neck.
i-Size also requires ISOFIX, which has less chance of being incorrectly used than belted car seats. Rearward faced travelling to a minimum of 15 months old. i-Size car seats are designed to be compatible with cars that have ISOFIX connection points.
